Leomax Entertainment is a privately held, independent production and film finance company, incorporated in 2007 in Los Angeles, California. Leomax is in the business of acquiring, producing, financing and marketing genre feature films for all domestic and foreign distribution territories.
Leomax created its own specialty label INDIGOMOTION, to market and brand genre pictures for the US and international marketplace.

The company focuses primarily on the production of high concept, commercial genre films for the growing theatrical, video and television markets. Leomax entered into a multi picture co-financing and distribution arrangement with John Malone’s Starz Home Entertainment and a First Look deal with Liberty Media’s newly established theatrical division Overture Films . US based Voltage Pictures is handling international sales for Leomax’s entire feature film slate.

A balanced production and finance company such as Leomax follows a business philosophy emphasizing the essential importance of preparing its pictures for the global marketplace and preparing the global marketplace for its pictures. Consequently, Leomax’s creative and production decisions are wholly knit together with the distribution imperatives of the end users.

Leomax Entertainment is being primarily bankrolled by its Suisse parent company Leomax AG, along with private investors out of Germany and the US.
The company is further in the process of establishing a Funding Network for which Leomax Entertainment acts as sole service provider. By means of an exclusive production agreement, Leomax will develop and produce/co-produce an annual slate under strict development and production criteria and consistent management guidelines (the internal greenlighting process).

Leomax’s ability to combine creative elements with a tailored financing structure gives Leomax a unique strategic position in today’s feature film distribution markets.
With access to a major US production and distribution corporation such as Starz Media, Leomax will not only focus on the internal development and feature film production, but also seek to identify outside film projects in which it can participate financially and/or productively.

Due to it's diverse capital access, Leomax will provide a US and international film portfolio consisting of projects which also prove domestic acceptance and may qualify as European co-productions, providing a truly world market film.
