Leomax Entertainment is an independent, transatlantic and privately held motion picture company, founded by German film producer/venture capitalist Ingo Vollkammer and American film producer Scott Einbinder to develop, finance, produce, acquire and market branded, high-concept genre motion pictures for theatrical and direct-to-video distribution for both the domestic and international marketplaces.

Founded in the spring of 2007, Leomax is based in Los Angeles and also maintains offices in Berlin, Germany and Paris, France.

Leomax is capitalized by Leomax AG, a private hedge fund based in Zurich, Switzerland, in conjunction with a consortium of private equity investors. Its venture capital backing allows Leomax to fully finance up to six feature films in a budget range of up to $35 million.

The company has a US domestic multi-picture, co-financing and distribution arrangement with Starz Media and its Anchor Bay Entertainment division. Overture Films reserves first-look rights to all Leomax motion pictures produced in conjunction with Starz for theatrical distribution. Los Angeles-based Voltage Pictures handles international sales for Leomax’s feature film slate.

In addition, Leomax, by means of its multi-million dollar production and P&A facility, also has the ability to market and release its own productions and acquisitions in partnership with other studios and independent distribution companies.

Leomax focuses on financing and producing commercial films with broad appeal in two budget ranges:

Lower Budgets:
Projects up to $5 million, which are films designated for the home entertainment marketplace, but produced with the full intention to turn out strong enough to validate a theatrical release.

Medium Budgets:
Projects between $10 and $35 million, which are bigger in scope and theatrically driven.

Indigomotion -
Leomax releases its genre motion pictures through its genre label Indigomotion. In conjunction with digital agency Spacedog, Indigomotion is also a branded comic book label for the promotion and marketing of its motion pictures.
